Matrix bridges
With a Matrix bridge you can connect an existing room with an existing XMPP channel.
Bifrost bridge
The Aria-net.org Bifrost bridge also supports bridging (plumbing) existing Matrix rooms to XMPP rooms, Matrix room administrators can perform plumbing by doing the following:
- Invite
@_bifrost_bot:aria-net.orginto the room - type
!bifrost bridge xmpp-js component.domain.tld roomname - To eventually remove the plumbing you can just type
!bifrost leave
Parsee bridge
The Parsee bridge is still a work in progress, but it aims to be a more performant and less error prone bridge between Matrix and XMPP.
