Mastodon DM bridge

Mastodon is a microblogging software that is part of the so called Fediverse.

It is possible to interact with users on this platform via gateways and bridges.

One option to bridge direct messages from XMPP to Mastodon (or compatible) is the XMPP-AP-Bridge. It utilized a bot on both sides of the bridge to relay direct messages between the protocols.
