Shared Blocklist

JoinJabber operates a realtime blocklist that allows fast and easy banning of accounts that have harrassed or otherwise abused people on our channels. This blocklist can also be subscribed to by other server and bot operators by adding pubsub.joinjabber.org to the list of sources for mod_muc_rtbl or the configuration of a moderation bot.

Our blocklist is meant to supplement the more SPAM foccused one found on xmppbl.org. On that website you can also find more technical details on how this blocklist system operates.

Unfortunatly, only Prosody supports multiple RTBL sources right now. If you operate a Ejabberd server we recommend to stick with the main blocklist at xmppbl.org for now.
